A pergunta da série respondida por uma troca de sujeito: quem está à janela é um animal, e o habitante humano aparece por um único indício — a persiana deixada aberta numa fresta, na altura exata em que o bicho enxerga a rua. Essa fresta não é descuido, é cuidado. E a obra fecha um movimento que vinha se armando: aqui o observado olha para outro lugar, e a artista aprova justamente isso, porque assim ela sai do quadro.

The series’ question is answered by a shift in subject: the figure at the window is an animal, while the human resident appears through a single clue—the blind left open just a crack, at exactly the height from which the cat can see the street. That opening is not carelessness; it is care. And the work completes a movement that has been taking shape: here, the observed looks elsewhere, and the artist values precisely that, because it removes her from the picture.
