Diante de uma fachada monumental e muda, um vaso no terceiro andar é o único indício de que existe alguém atrás dela — quantidade mínima de cor produzindo quantidade máxima de sentido. O mérito invisível é uma escolha: existe no portfólio outra versão da cena, mais escura em volta, em que só a cor sobrevive, e a artista preferiu aquela em que a casa continua legível. Trocar impacto por pertinência é decisão de autor.

The work in which the series speaks in the artist’s own voice. Against a monumental, silent façade, a flowerpot on the third floor is the only sign that someone exists behind it—the smallest amount of color producing the greatest amount of meaning. The unseen merit lies in a choice: elsewhere in the portfolio there is another version of the scene, darker around the edges, in which only the color survives, and the artist preferred the one in which the house remains legible. Choosing relevance over impact is an authorial decision.
