Casa e morador aparecem juntos e dizem a mesma coisa: os dois pararam no tempo enquanto a cidade seguiu. A obra foi feita duas vezes — uma na rua, em um segundo, com o carro em fila dupla; outra no corte, que eliminou o portão da serralheria e um táxi e converteu cena urbana em retrato. Ao preservar a tabuleta, que a princípio julgou atrapalhar, a artista deu à imagem o próprio nome: a palavra que titula a obra está pintada dentro dela.

House and resident appear together and say the same thing: both have stood still in time while the city moved on. The work was made twice—once on the street, in a single second, with the car double-parked; and again in the crop, which eliminated the metalworking shop’s gate and a taxi, transforming an urban scene into a portrait. By preserving the sign, which she initially thought was a distraction, the artist gave the image its own name: the word that titles the work is painted within it.
