“Muita gente passa pelas coisas boas dessa maneira.”

The work in which the series encounters its exact opposite. In the others, separation occurs between people; here, it is between a person and an event. Five musicians perform live in a subway concourse while someone crosses the frame without registering that it is happening. Texture makes the argument: sharpness for those who stay, motion blur for the one who passes by. The figure closest to the camera is the largest in the frame and the only one who is unrecognizable — movement has erased their face. It is the work in which the artist states, for the first time, the purpose of her own practice.

“So many people pass by good things this way.”
