Uma obra sobre julgamento. Feita em cor, num celular, ela só se tornou o que é ao ser traduzida para o preto e branco — onde, sem a distração da cor, apareceram a luz sobre a mesa e o encosto da cadeira que a artista não notara. A força é saber disso, e saber onde cortar a janela para que o resíduo da manhã, e não a paisagem, fosse o assunto. É o intimismo tornado fotografia: o cotidiano guardado como um diário.

A work about judgment. Made in color on a phone, it only became what it is when translated into black and white — where, freed from the distraction of color, the light falling across the table and the back of the chair, which the artist had not noticed, emerged. Its strength lies in recognizing this, and in knowing where to crop the window so that the remnants of the morning, rather than the landscape, became the subject. It is Intimism turned into photography: everyday life preserved like a diary.
